Team Steel Clippers (NY) vs. Jr. Ducks of Westchester (NY)
7-0 the ducks prevailed, fueled by a fast start with a 4 run first inning behind a 2 RBI double from Jack Sullivan. LHP Matt Luongo started for the ducks and was phenomenal. He mixed a mid 70s fastball and a sharp curveball with lots of depth to stymie the Steel. He showed an ability to paint the outside corner to Righties and showed an ability to throw his breaking ball in any count
CT Moose (CT) vs. Jr Ducks of Westchester (NY)
Jackson hassock dominated from the start as he went 6 strong innings striking out 14 and only walking 2. He flashed a low 80s fastball with a mid 70s slider and a curveball at 65mph. The Ducks played solid defense throughout. The Moose tried to mount a rally late but were unable to sustain any offense
CT Moose (CT) vs. Zone Prospects (MA)
The Moose started off hot taking advantage of the walks and errors from the Zone scoring 8 runs in the first 3 innings. The zone battled back to tie the game led by 2 triples from shortstop David Pedanou. The game ended in a tie the zone stranded the winning run at third when the game ended
Ocean State Makos (RI) vs. Next Level Shamrocks (NH)
The Makos jumped out quick to a 4-0 lead after the second inning. LHP Nolan Sion (2021) used a sinking 75-77 fastball to keep the shamerocks off balanced. The shamerocks bats woke up in the 4th when they scratched a run across. Then added 2 more in the 5th to make it a 4-3 game. The comeback attempt fell short as the makos held on for a 4-3 win in a 6 inning game.
